5. | Qualifications of Applicants | The applicant must have completed Bachelor’s Degree from the institute that has been proved Office of Higher Education Committee with a GPAX not less than 3.00.

2. Music Composition
2.1 Bachelor’s Degree Official Transcript 2.2 2-4 compositions showing the composer's technique and musical style, such as solo, small or large ensemble, electronic to multimedia works, etc. If the composition can be saved as a musical note (any type), send it in a print-ready PDF file. Works may be saved in mp3 file format for audio or mp4 file format for audio with video. Audio works in MIDI format (i.e. MIDI from Sibelius or Finale, for example) should not be submitted unless the composer wishes to use MIDI as part of their work. In case the work cannot be recorded as a musical note, the work must be recorded and sent in mp3 or mp4 format. 2.3 Statement for the artist and a description of the work (if applicable). *The applicants must send to pimonpan.du@cmu.ac.th

3. Music Performance (Piano)

10. | Entrance Examination | 1. Music Education, and
2. Music Composition Written Exam Music Theory and Music History (Applicants choose to take 1 exam between Western music and Thai music/local music) The content scope is as follows. Exam Set 1 (Western Music) - Western Music Theory: Knowledge of Western Music Theory Common Practice (17th century to 19th century) of classical music, especially knowledge of harmonies and musical structures.
- History of Western Music: Musical Concepts development of western music and Western music genres from the Medieval era to the 20th century.
Exam set 2 (Thai and local music) - Knowledge of Thai or local music theory and instrumental techniques - Thai music history or local music

3. Music Performance (Piano)
Piano Practice Exam - Prepare 2 solo piano songs (must not be a concerto). The total length is at least 20 minutes. The first works must be of the Baroque or Classical period. The second piece must be a piece from the Romantic period or the 20th century, or a contemporary piece of music.
- The practice exam must demonstrate the applicant's piano and performing arts abilities. (sight-reading), major minor scale (harmonic and melodic) and 4-octave arpeggios.
